This is me now. Two novels started, one bouncing around in my head, and a dangerous let’s put it off until January attitude.
By the way, my Clean Southern Fiction giveaway ends December 17. Sign up for the drawing to win a bar of Brea Rose Soap Garden’s Coastal Mist Soap and a copy of A Southern Season.
I love it! Fortunately/ Unfortunately I am a focus-on-one-thing-until-it’s-done-aphobic. Good in that I tend to finish what I start, not so good when I am working on a project that needs to see the inside of the trash can and I refuse to stop. One time my art teacher took my paint brush from my hand and told me, “No more paint will adhere to the canvass. Time to move on.” There is indeed a time to stick with it and a time to move on. How sweet it is to start a new story that has been swirling in our minds begging to be released!
Congratulations on your new endeavors! And no, you can’t wait until January to start them because that means your fans (me included) have to wait that much longer before we get our hands on it!

I like your art teacher.
As for starting my new project, I’m researching it now. Not sure it’s going to happen. We’ll see.

Eh, I’ve learned that a lot of things have to be put off until January. December is always crazier than I anticipate.

Only 7 days into it, and this December has already proven crazier than all 60 previous Decembers combined. I’m ready for January now.
