I finished the first draft of Ride to the Altar just before 2017 slipped away. Now, on to the next phase!

  1. My hubby always says, “The only good writing is rewriting!” Even though most advice says not to, I edit and revise as I go.

I think it’s because my first writing was fanfiction that got posted in serial style, chapter by chapter, on an online archive site. I rarely worked ahead, so I would write a chapter, edit, rewrite, edit (repeat) until I was happy with it and then post it. Even after three 200+ page novels I still write a chapter at a time, in chronological order, and edit as I go.

  2. You really know how to dig in the knife. LOL! I am hot in the middle of edits and rewrites. I am amazed at what I see that needs fixing I did not see the first and second and third time through. BID may yet be honed to the greatness it needs to be. Thanks for the mimes. I always enjoy them.

  3. Love these, particularly the first, about figuring out the story and then finding the most dramatic way of telling it. 🙂 And, congratulations on finishing the first draft of Ride to the Altar!
