In answer to the adorable donkey: because I’m taking a break after finishing my outline and before starting my first draft. In truth, I’m kind of dawdling, hoping I can start writing outside in the warm weather.

I got to do some writing outdoors before the azaleas started blooming. Now the wasps and bees keep me in. I can’t wait until we move and have a screened-in porch!!!

Absolutely. A writer is working even when she stares out the window. It’s where I get all my best ideas. Well, that and housecleaning. 😉
