Finally! The new Kindle edition of Give the Lady a Ride is up and running on Amazon!
The print version is supposed to be up, too, but I’m having trouble with it. Not sure what happened. One day–just Wednesday, in fact–both print versions were available, the one from Port Yonder Press and my edition from CreateSpace. Then, yesterday, I logged on to see my shiny new book in its shiny new cover, only to find a “no image” sign and a price tag of $178. Apparently “onlinebookstore” finds the novel is so wonderful they expect to reap one heckuva profit from it.
I called Amazon, and they’re supposed to link the CreateSpace image with the Kindle and PYP editions, but they haven’t yet. At least the $178 edition isn’t the first to crop up. If everything’s not straightened out by Monday, I’ll have to call again.
The Kindle version is only 99c till Friday, 3/21!
And if you’re just now finding that out, you’re behind the times.
Those who voluntarily signed up for the first edition of my newsletter, “Coffee with Linda,” found out Wednesday, and those I signed up on my own–with full invitation for them to unsubscribe–found out yesterday. Everyone who got my newsletter also got an opportunity to enter a drawing for one of two $15.00 Starbucks gift certificates!
If you’re a Facebook friend, I may have already signed you up. If you didn’t get it, check your spam, or give me a holler. Could be I got your email address wrong.
There will be other giveaways in the future, exclusive to my quarterly newsletter, so if you’d like to be included, be sure to sign up today!
You can also find out what’s going by following my author page on Facebook. There, I post all sorts of sweet and crazy pics in preparation for my new releases, or just I just get to be silly for the fun of it. But if there’s ever anything exciting to announce, I’ll put it there first. I don’t have to wait for posting days on my blog, don’t have to wait for the quarterly newsletter time, I can just post whenever I’m darned good and ready. So find out things quicker! Follow the link and hit my “like” button!
Okay, end of commercial.
Regular posts–if they can be called “regular”–will resume Monday morning, assuming I’ve had enough coffee and have sufficiently adjusted to the new time.
Meanwhile, Peppermint Hugs and Candy Cane Kisses!
