Music for the Mood

Are you looking for me today? You’ll find me on British author Roz Morris’s blog The Undercover Soundtrack. Roz says “Once a week I host a writer who uses music as part of their creative process – perhaps to tap into a character, populate a mysterious place, or explore the depths in a pivotal moment. ” This week, it’s me she’s hosting.

I get to share my experience through the wonderful music and lyrics of Chris LeDoux songs. For those who don’t know, Chris sang western and rodeo songs, but he also said, “even a cowboy likes a little bit of rock and roll!” He had just about everything on his CDs, but the songs that plopped me in the setting for Give the Lady a Ride were in his western/rodeo genre. If you’ve ever seen anything about Ride, you know why those songs would be so appealing! Come see which ones I’m talking about on Roz’s blog, The Undercover Soundtrack.

I hope to see you there!
