Just As I Thought

Yep, I finished The Cat Lady’s Secret just a couple of hours before I had to leave for Mom’s. There’s something about that Mama Deadline that spurs my writing and gets me going. I’m totally excited about the changes I made. Once again, Katie was spot-on with her critique. (By the way, you can have her eagle eye review your work too and give it a critique that will make you a far better writer. Just go to her website, Wordplay, and click on “Editing Service.”)

The novel is now sitting with one of the Queen Bees of ACFW who showed interest in it earlier. She liked the first two chapters well enough that she wants me to tell any agent or editor who crosses my path that she’s going to endorse the novel. Let me tell ya–that makes this ol’ gal feel great!

Anyway, I’m with Mom, going to a wide variety of doctors. I pray that someday God will give us a visit that doesn’t include anyone with an MD after his name!

See y’all next week!

  1. Congratulations, and thank you for the critique referral. Also, I will add my prayers to yours that visiting MD’s will finally end with your Mom’s improved health. Some people just work better under fire, and apparently you are one! At least it kick starts The Muse, and whatever works!
