“. . . if you can’t see the good man he is, you need to unscrew them eyeballs of yours and try on a different pair.”
That’s my favorite line, not just in this book, but out of several books I’ve read recently.
Levi Grant is a godly man with an ungodly past. Eden Spencer is a godly woman with latent pharisaical tendencies to overcome–which she does. With this obstruction to their romance eliminated, what else will get in their way? The sheriff–with an eye toward gaining favor from her politician father.
To Win Her Heart is a sweet historical romance written by fellow Texan and ACFW member, Karen Witemeyer. Karen developed some realistic people to populate the fictitious town of Spencer, Texas: tall, strong Levi the blacksmith, and pretty, proper Eden the librarian lead the cast. I appreciate Karen for allowing me to visit the town for a while!
To Win Her Heart is a good read for anyone who loves Christian romance. If you’re a fan of this genre, leave a comment! I’m giving away my (gently read) copy of the sweet story in a drawing this Friday. I’ll announce the winner Monday. Be sure to state specifically that you wish to enter the drawing!
And don’t forget the drawing for my book, Give the Lady a Ride, to be held June 3. Scroll down to the next pose for entry instructions.
Love it! Actually, it sounds like something *you* would have written.
