I’m counting down the days until I can go home again. Target date: June 3.
Mom’s doing reasonably better, and she’s able to do things for herself. We have doctor’s appointments this week and next, then the following week is a writers’ group meeting I’d love to attend. Then, I’m going home!
I’ve been here since the last week in March, so you can imagine how anxious I am to be in my own little house again, with my cats, ducks, and dried-up pond. Sigh. Can’t wait!
To celebrate Mom’s improved health and my homecoming, I holding a giveaway: several signed copies of Give the Lady a Ride are up for grabs. I’m giving one away on each site I belong to. Christianwriters.com, Goodreads, the ACFW, WWW, and PEN loops, Facebook, Twitter, VibrantNation, LinkedIn–virtually any social site I belong to I’ll be posting an announcement similar to this one.
So, here’s the plan. To enter the drawing, keep an eye out for the announcements anywhere you find them. Leave a comment on the site and write me at my new business email address: pprmint777@wildblue.net to tell me you’re interested. In your email to me, give me the site name, your name, and your screen name on the site. If you’re on Facebook, let me know you’ve “liked” my fan page “Give the Lady a Ride,” and your Facebook name so I can find you. If you sign up on several sites, send an email for each site.
I’ll admit now: special consideration will be given to those who are willing to write a review on their blogs and/or elsewhere, and those who are willing to promote my book on their site through an interview or guest post. (I need all the help I can get!)
Drawing sign-up starts today, with this post, and goes until midnight June 3. I’ll announce the winners on June 6.
Lotsa chances to win! Good luck everyone!
Yay! Here’s to homecomings and dried-up ponds. Sounds like a mega-fun drawing. Good idea.

I don’t have my copy yet! And I need to get back to CW. I need to get back here more often. I need to write some goals.
You’re very brave to post yours. How are you doing with them?
You are such a blessing to your mom! Glad she’s doing better. 🙂
So proud of you, friend.

I don’t know if I was brave or dumb to post my goals. So far, I’m not doing too well meeting them. 😦
Thanks for dropping by!

Glad your mother’s better and life is returning to “normal.” Is there such a thing? I’m also giving away copies of my books to those leaving comments on my latest blog, A Native american Tale. Hope you’ll go there. Also hope I’m one of the winners of your book.
