While I have her picture here, let me tell you a thing or two about Maggie–she really is quite a remarkable woman.
Maggie is a devoted Christian, a wife and mother, and a former student of Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary. She is adamantly in favor of home schooling and has a blog intended to support all emerging writers, with a special heart toward home schooled students: Encouraging Emerging Authors.
Maggie is the author of over seventy articles, poems, and book reviews published in such magazines as War Cry, Wesleyan Life, Christian Home and School, and she has recently published a book called I Run to the Hills: Reflections on the Christian Journey, which will be released this fall.
But all this impressive, and dry, information doesn’t tell you she’s a nut, and she loves critters (she and her husband raise sheep, chickens, and two barn cats, Thunder and Lightening). She’s always ready to listen and help, and, in general, she’s just a wonderful person to know. The C in her name stands for Chila (“Sheila” in German–and pronounced as such). She’s humble to her own detriment–she hates promoting her book because she sees it as self-promotion.
So, I’ll promote it for her: Hear ye! Hear ye! Coming this fall to Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble!!! I Run to the Hills: Reflections on the Christian Journey!
