Interview with William Landay

Recently, I told you about Defending Jacob (soon to be a Warner Brothers production), one of the most amazing novels I’ve read in a long time. Yes, it even tops books by Lisa Gardner, and you know how much I love her work. So guess what?! Bill Landay agreed to do an interview with me on AuthorCulture. He talks about how important it is that an author feel empathy for his characters, the importance of carefully constructed outlines–and why his fail, his publication history, and his views on marketing. Fascinating stuff!

The interview is up today–don’t miss it!
